“This is a well-run family-owned assisted living residence. The staff are friendly, courteous and professional. Meals are hand made by the chefs and delicious. I’ve had the chance to enjoy veal tenderloins and beef stroganoff. Would definitely recommend it!” – Kathy S.

“By far the best assisted living / memory care facility in the Capital District. The entire staff is competent, dedicated and always willing to go the extra mile for all of the residents. My mother and stepfather are both residents at LALR and couldn’t be happier to be there. The food is excellent and the activities keep them busier than they were before they moved into LALR. Very highly recommended.” – Paul J.

“Dad moved to Loudonville Assisted Living six years ago. We visited a number of similar facilities and this one seemed the best fit. It has become his true home. His friendships with his fellow residents and the very caring staff greatly expanded his social life which was limited because he outlived all his friends. Through several complicated hospitalizations and the rehabs that followed he has always said, “I just want to get home to Loudonville” and the staff are always there to help us make that happen. A safe, supportive, and caring place.” – Daniel D.

“My mom has been a resident at Loudonville Assisted Living for the past 7 years and it has been one of the best decisions our family has ever made. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for all that they do for my mom there. It is truly a loving place with exceptionally compassionate people from the top down. Never once have they ever made me feel like I was a nuisance when I would bring something to their attention. They always listened to my concerns and always did something about it. I know that because of the excellent care she received there is part of the reason she recently just turned 103 years old August 1st. I highly recommend this residence as the home for your loved one. – Joyce C.

“Beautiful facility. I have done a lot of work over the past several years with assisted living facilities and upgrading their campuses. Mike and Rhea take a lot of pride in their business and it shows. Having the owners in the building every day seems to create a very supportive working environment, I know it was a big help for me to have them around. Sometimes assisted living facilities can have a “nursing home” feel but they have done a great job of making the building feel like a home. A VERY NICE home!” – Christian S.

“I cannot even begin to describe the sense of peace my sister and I enjoyed once we moved our mom into Loudonville. We knew she would be well cared for at Loudonville. The staff showed kindness and compassion from the day she moved in until her passing. Our hearts will always be grateful for all LALR has done for our family.” – Lilian D.

“Our mother was a resident in the Gerald Levine Center for Memory Care until her passing. We feel so glad that the last days of her life were in this beautiful facility. The administrator of the center is understanding and patient beyond what you would ever expect and it extended to the staff that worked on that team. The food is at least as good as restaurant. Nourishing and appetizing. The grounds landscaping is very tastefully done and very manicured. Our mother loved flowers and she loved to walk the grounds and look at them. You can rest assured with a loved one living in Loudonville Assisted Living Residence.”- Dan B.

“I had been told repeatedly that Loudonville Assisted Living was the finest facility of its type in the Capital District, and after a month of having a loved one there I don’t disagree. I visited several facilities before choosing Loudonville and none could compare physically or with the impressive quality of the senior staff. That’s why we waited months to get in. It’s family owned, and the family is there! And they really care. It’s a lovely looking place that could easily be mistaken for a luxury condo complex. The food for residents is excellent. Physical therapy is very good. Medical care is there. Nearly all the staff has a helpful attitude and from what I’ve seen supervisors aren’t pleased with those who don’t. To sum up, it’s sad to have to be in assisted living but if one has to be I know of no better facility than Loudonville.” – Fred D.

“What a beautiful facility, inside and out! The whole place is very clean and well-appointed, demonstrating obvious care and attention to detail. I was impressed with the homey setting, gorgeous landscaping and sweet outdoor areas.” – Jill B.

“My mom has lived here for almost 6 years. She has been happy here since the day she moved in. Most importantly, she has been kept safe during this pandemic. All credit and thanks go to the owners and staff! I can’t imagine the hard work and flexibility that it’s taken to get this far, covid free. I am so very grateful to everyone. I only wish that I could offer more than pizza to show mine and my families gratitude. Loudonville Assisted Living is undoubtedly a perfect fit for my mom. And if she’s happy, I’m happy! Thank you all! – Nancy B.

“My mother in law was in the Loudonville Enhanced unit for over two years. My wife and I found the care to be excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The Enhanced License allowed my mother in law to remain at the Loudonville when any other assisted living residence would have sent her to a nursing home. It felt like a family. Thank you for all your kindness.” – Fred J.

“It was such a hard but very necessary decision to have my Mom transition out of her home, especially during the Covid shutdown. Loudonville Assisted Living Memory Care has become her home; she feels loved, safe and is happy once again. The care she receives is genuine. They go above and beyond to help each resident feel heard and like they belong and matter. In Memory Care every day is a challege and yet there are always smiling faces and a hug to be given.” Tish L.

“Beautiful facility with attention to every detail. My mom lived there for 5 years and it felt like home. The staff appreciated her and encouraged her to be her best self. She knew she was liked and respected and was happy. There were lots of smiles, fun games, joyful music and the food not only tasted great but was presented in a way that felt like fine dining. I am grateful to all that made her time there a meaningful and peaceful experience.” – Syma T.

“As the husband of a resident in the Loudonville Assisted Living Residence I am so thankful that my wife is residing there. Both her physical and emotional needs are being effectively managed there by a most caring, experienced and competent Staff. The residents’ rooms are quite spacious and immaculately maintained. The common living areas appear luxurious in regard to their furnishings, floor coverings and objects of art. The grounds including the lawn are immaculately maintained with an abundance of beautiful shrubs and flowers. My wife who knows good food, has always been pleased with the quality of the meals. The care giving Staff are attentive to the residents’ needs which undoubtedly contributes to ensuring their comfort and safety. Without hesitation I have given the Loudonville Assisted Living Residence a five star rating and would highly recommend it as a first choice long term care facility for any family member’s loved one who requires assisted living care.” – Joel K.
